Dr. Jadon Webb, MD, PhD

Dr. Webb is the founder and director of Bloom Mental Health.

He is board certified in both Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to serving as Staff Psychiatrist and treating patients across Colorado, he is active in the scientific, academic, and medical communities, maintaining positions as
Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale School of Medicine as well as Adjunct Professor at University of Denver.

AFTON WILLIAMSON, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, DNP
Clinical Director & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Afton is a dual board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner and is the clinical director at Bloom Mental Health. She started her career as a nurse practitioner in 2012 and brings experience in providing care to patients across the lifespan. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Masters in Nursing from the University of Washington and her Bachelors in Nursing from St Olaf College.

Afton is a former president of the Colorado Society of Advanced Practice Nurses. She was selected to present at the National Nurse Practitioner Symposium on trauma-informed care for primary care providers in 2019. She provides support and mentorship to nurse practitioner students as a clinical faculty site visitor for University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her publications include co-authoring the chapter “Managing Prenatal Depression”  in the Encyclopedia of the Neurological Sciences, third edition, and co-author of “‘Steroids For The Treatment Of Misophonia And Misokinesia A Case Report”, in Case Reports in Psychiatry.  

Afton has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a variety of settings including family practice in Seattle, WA, student health at the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center, and Director of Health Services at Johnson & Wales University Denver. As a Registered Nurse, she has experience working on the Mood Disorders Unit at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA.

Afton finds fulfillment in collaborating with individuals across various age groups, from children and adolescents to adults. She particularly values her interactions with parents and families. She has a special interest in perimenopause and menopause management, utilizing FDA-approved hormone therapy, non-hormonal treatments, and supplements to provide individualized care. Afton is dedicated to assisting patients with medication management and implementing lifestyle adjustments to enhance mental well-being. Her clinical focus spans ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, perinatal mood disorders, women’s health, and mental health conditions associated with chronic illness.​

​Megan is passionate about helping women, caregivers, and anxious adults and adolescents (15+) navigate life’s challenges, including grief, trauma, depression, and chronic illness. She believes in the power of holistic healing, recognizing that health is a precious privilege. This perspective fuels her commitment to supporting clients in achieving balance across their emotional, mental, physical, and relational well-being with a root cause approach. Understanding that strong relationships are central to overall well-being, Megan helps clients strengthen connections, build supportive communities, and feel more grounded in their sense of belonging.

Megan’s integrative therapeutic style blends a person-centered and psychodynamic foundation with somatic techniques, Polyvagal Theory, ACT, and DBT to meet each client’s unique needs with flexibility and depth. She is also misophonia-informed, providing a validating space for individuals who experience strong emotional and physiological responses to specific sounds. Additionally, Megan has a growing interest in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and its potential to support clients in deepening self-awareness, processing trauma, and expanding emotional flexibility.

Megan earned her Bachelor's in Spanish and Secondary Education from Michigan State University, where she developed a deep appreciation for cross-cultural communication and understanding. She pursued her first Master’s in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity from CU Boulder during her teaching career, strengthening her ability to support individuals from various backgrounds and navigate complex social and emotional dynamics. Her experience in education deepened her understanding of how identity and emotional well-being intersect.

Her passion for mental health led her to pursue a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University, where she refined her clinical skills and developed an integrative approach. Megan’s fluency in Spanish also allows her to engage with clients in a more multifaceted and meaningful way, incorporating cultural and linguistic understanding into the therapeutic process as needed.
